I have extensive experience as a military chaplain, hospital chaplain (Sunnybrook Health Sciences Centre - Toronto, Bridgepoint Health - Toronto), and as a congregational minister (United Church of Canada). I have expertise in the areas of palliative care, psychosocial oncology, complex continuing care, and rehabilitation.

Teaching Supervisor;
Venerable Thom Kilts, is certified with the Association of Professional Chaplains as well as a fully certified Association for Clinical Pastoral Education Supervisor.  He is one of the first Buddhists in both associations and is currently the only Vajrayana Buddhist in ACPE.  Thom has been involved in the field of interfaith spiritual care for more than 13 years and would be interested in pursuing a career in Canada.  Most of his career has been spent in various healthcare settings with 6-7 years of management experience.  He was forced to leave his last job a year ago due to a debilitating illness.  Since that time he has received a diagnosis, and proper treatment of medicine and exercise.  He is now ready and capable of returning to full time work and him and his family are interested in relocating to a new environment to start their new life.  His most recent past employer is willing to provide a reference regarding his stellar employee history.  Thom  has written various articles on supervision and chaplaincy and has given numerous presentations at regional and national conferences.  He also has published his own original music.  He can be contacted at; tkilts@yahoo.com, or 802-387-1166.  Upon request a full resume can be made available along with a list of references.
