Physical/Mental Health, Spirituality, and the Environment
This workshop will explore an enriched understanding of health as membership in a robust social and ecological community enacted in a place, and profile the physical threats to our health (e.g. toxins & child health)
and the emotional and mental health impacts on individuals and communities (e.g. generational environmental amnesia, sense of loss).
Workshop participants will learn ways of deepening their practice with a greater ecological sensitivity, and will be introduced to spiritual and counseling practices that will support individuals to exercise their rights to a healthy environment and to protect their health. |
