DACUM Project

I am pleased to announce that the DACUM process for Specialist in Pastoral Care has been completed and I have asked our webmaster to post this document in the members only section for your access.
The DACUM chart gives a snapshot of the job functions of a Specialist. It is a completed document. The Education Standards Commission will be proceeding with further study of the document and development of curriculum from it.
We hope you will also find it helpful as you think about your work in Spiritual Care.
We are especially indebted to Dan Cooper, RAC for Saskatchewan. He oversaw this project, hosted it, and continues to work on the follow-up.
We also were very pleased with Ann and Lawrence Wilson, our consultants. The Anglican Church of Canada deserves a vote of thanks as well for supporting this project through our CAPPE Foundation.
