For Resources from Allied Professions a partial literature review of a sampling of was undertaken. Search engines Novanet, EBSCO, Orbis, Amazon, Google Scholar, and WorldCat were consulted for recent English language books from related helping professions such as psychology and social work. Keyword searches included: psychology supervision, psychotherapy supervision, clinical supervision, social work supervision, and simply supervision. Some other variants were used. Subject, keyword, and recommendation links were followed when relevant. Given the overwhelming quantity of material and the extensive web of linked resources even the most basic searches uncovered, without delving too deep, it was difficult to discriminate which books were most relevant. From the basis of review material and book descriptions gathered from search engines and publisher’s pages the list was  narrowed significantly. EBSCO databases, including CINAHL, ERIC, and PsycInfo were consulted for online book reviews. With the help of these, the list was further shortened and then brief books reviews were written.
